Samsung Blackjack Cooked ROM Bogart Edition
In the past, we released several versions of Windows Mobile 6.1 Cooked ROM Bogart Edition for Samsung Blackjack phone. This is due to our desperation to have Windows Mobile 6.1 since we have two units here that are getting old already.
Since we deleted all the post from our old site, we are reposting the latest Cooked ROM here so that people can install it and extend the life of their Samsung Blackjack (SGH-i607).
Here’s the summary of features included in the latest Cooked ROM:
- Threaded SMS of Windows Mobile 6.1
- IE Home Page search is now default using google.com
- Bluetooth Headset was tested with my Jabra (works great!)
- No more noisy and slow at&t startup sound when turning on
- Sliding Panel Media displays photos taken from the camera
- CeleTask Task Manager
- .Net Compact Framework 3.0 is now built-in to the ROM
- Microsoft Office OneNote Mobile is built-in to the ROM
- New Icons of shortcuts and folders in the Start Menu
- Includes software that allows it to be used as a modem
- Includes software that allows it to do internet sharing

I believe i have the latest version of this rom, but for some reason my rom version is reading
CE OS 5.2.17944 (Build 19700.1.0)
Radio Version i607UCGF1
I downloaded a different radio rom because i heard that the i607UCGF1 radio has better quality, so even though i have a different radio, do i still have the latest pda version?? Just curious, thanks in advance.

Yes, the rom I provided was for the pda portion. Any radio compatible with blackjack will not have any problems with the rom.

I have installed the past revisions of Bogart for the Blackjack and I found it to be somewhat slow. Has the speed increased with this release?

I’ve been itching to get a Blackjack in Korea, unfortunately since its Windows based there is no option to change the language from korean to english. I have two questions, will the installation of this ROM change the language to english? What do you think the chances of compatibility with korean blackjacks?

it is not compatible.. korean blackjack is i600 with wifi and front camera
