5Row Alternative Keyboard is simply an add-on to iKeyEx Keyboard developed by KenntyTM~. The add-on will hopefully be available in cydia soon. This will help users avoid the nightmare of installing the add-on manually through SSH.
Note:
Make sure to use mix and match 5Row Alternative with an input manager and put a name for the keyboard bundle if it doesn’t show up automatically.

I’ve been using the the iPhone mail app to sync my contacts, calendar and emails through exchange server. One thing I noticed was that there was no setting to limit the file size of every email received. Even if you set the email limiter on server side, the iPhone wouldn’t recognize it. This is very crucial especially to KB/bandwidth based data plans since every kilobyte cost money. After getting frustrated about it, I began to study the behavior of the iPhone mail app and realized that Apple automated everything to prevent users from making mistakes but sacrificed user control.

I’ve been using the iPhone 3G for months and it’s really hard to get used to the standard keyboard. I tried to look for alternative keyboard layout and I found ikeyex keyboard developed by KennyTM. The tool can be only installed in jailbroken iPhones. You can download the latest release from his site which is “hk.kennytm.iKeyEx3-0.1-99j.deb” and make sure to also download “hk.kennytm.5RowQWERTY-0.1-99h.deb”. I’ll be including my own keyboard layout and feel free to use it.

I had a Samsung Epix and Samsung Omnia before which had a backlight issue (very unlucky). I tried to have it checked in samsung service center and the only option was to replace the mainboard which cost a lot since I don’t have the receipt anymore. The problem with the backlight was it does not turn off automatically by itself. It will only turn off if the device is set to turn off. The problem here is that If you’re surfing the internet with your phone and set the backlight to turn off after 1 min, device turn off after 3 mins. The backlight won’t turn off until the 3 min mark which will drain your battery. Another problem is that the phone backlight will not turn off if it’s sync to activesync/charge. You will need to turn it off by pressing the power button, but that ends up disconnecting to activesync also.

While most organization works on Exchange 2003 for their email the move to the newer Exchange 2007 provides more functionality and benefits. Exchange 2007 not only provide a good looking EMC. But is packed with new cool features such as Unified Messaging, Message tracking Center and mailbox recovery and addresses also the limitation on the database size of your the previous Exchange 2003. Well theoretically it can go up to 16TB of Exchange database size surpassing the previous 75GB limit on your Exchange 2003. But I don’t think someone would want his database size to be 16TB that is way too much to handle. Ok All is going well until one day the CIO asked me to send him a list of people who are not reading their email. So I opened up my Exchange Admin console and went to the users mailbox node..and guess what. it is not there anymore.
